This blueprint features a simple, repeatable workspace architecture with less components in the room and an all-in-one product design that combines a 12 MP smart camera, a 27” desk conferencing monitor, a 4K digital whiteboard, an integrated docking station and laptop charger, a multi-channel sound system, and a noise cancelling microphone array in a single hardware solution to dramatically simplify focus room installation and ongoing support.

The 71-degree-horizontal-field-of-view, integrated camera captures a wide-angle view of one or two people in front of the device and uses sophisticated vertical tilt adjustment using head detection to keep the user perfectly framed.
Capture every voice.
Powered by a built-in, beamforming microphone array and AI noise removal, the device isolates and picks up voice from in front of the device and blocks out unwanted background noise from the area beyond the camera's field of view.
See everyone
The built-in camera of the Desk Pro is designed for the optimal height and viewing angle when the device is placed on a desk. When mounted on the wall with or without a VESA adapter kit, we recommend following the mounting height indicated in the installation guide for a natural posture for users when they interact with the touch display.
Get the best audio experience
Although the Desk Pro features advanced noise reduction and reverberation reduction algorithms, the sound clarity in the room will depend on acoustic conditions. For the optimal experience, use an acoustically absorbing suspended ceiling and acoustical wall panels, preferably on adjoining walls to avoid flutter echo between parallel walls.
Boost audio pickup
If the space has parallel glass walls, use heavy curtains or special transparent acoustical panels to absorb sound. Decorative elements like the wooden batten pattern, as shown on the blueprint of this room, can be effectively used as wall absorbers. To dampen the sound of footsteps and moving chairs, we recommend carpeting on the floor.
Optimize your deployment
Proper orientation of the desk device within the focus room is critical. Positioning the Desk Pro on the adjoining wall with the door or applying a semi-transparent privacy film on the glass-wall provides more privacy inside the room, as well as helping to minimize the number of false positives created when the device is used to detect occupancy.
Achieve the perfect room design
If the device is installed on the opposing wall, apply a privacy film on the glass wall and activate the meeting zones feature on the collaboration device to avoid capturing and framing passers-by during video meetings.
Get the perfect lighting
To ensure meeting participants look their best, they should be lit from the front (fill light), top (key light), and back (backlight). For optimal visibility, eye contact, subject highlighting, and scene depth, use glare-free luminaries with a beam angle of 90°or wider to evenly distribute light throughout the room.
Fine-tuning color
We recommend using a light intensity of 400-500 lux, measured vertically, to clearly capture facial features, and 700-900 lux for optimal brightness on horizontal work surfaces. Room lighting should be even, and a light color temperature of 4000 K is generally suitable for most scenarios. For accurate color representation of skin tones and interiors, use a color rendering index (CRI) of 85 or better.
